Monika
Monika’s neighbor murdered her grandfather over a land dispute, and Monika’s father in turn murdered the neighbor and ended up in prison. Monika felt “hated” by everyone around her. To make matters worse, after serving a ten-year prison sentence, Monika’s father became an alcoholic. Monika coped by writing prize winning poetry! She has also won prizes in drama and badminton. Monika is now pursuing Veterinary Science with the goal of becoming a surgeon.
Srikanth
A responsible, focused student, Srikanth is pursuing a diploma in Civil Engineering. His father was murdered by relatives in a land dispute. 10 years later, no longer able to bear the burden of poverty, Srikanth’s mother committed suicide. Srikanth and his two older sisters have been cared for by their grandparents, and Srikanth is grateful for their love.
Dharani

Ever since, Bharathi’s mother has struggled to educate her two sons, working as a cook’s assistant. Bharathi is an excellent student, striving to succeed.
