Ragul’s mother raised her son and daughter on her meager salary working as a tailor. Ragul says he wants to make his mother proud, and give her a break. He continues to set himself higher goals, and strives to achieve them.

For almost all of his life, his father has been in prison, having been implicated in mob riots.
