Meet Ragul, a senior executive in the auto industry, empowered by a Tiyara scholarship.
After earning a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics, Ragul now earns over five and a half times his annual scholarship, in annual wages! Ragul’s father was murdered by Ragul’s uncle over ownership of a well. Ragul’s mother raised her son and daughter on her meager salary working in a garment factory. Ragul says he wants to make his mother proud and give her a break. He says that now that he is employed, he is able to provide his mother with better medical care and also hel support his sister. He continues to set himself higher career goals and strives to achieve them.
